Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist Healthcare in Willingboro, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all. Your visible presence and commitment to service will support peace of mind for patients, staff, and visitors. You will carry out routine patrols with professionalism, engage positively with those on site, and respond promptly to incidents as they arise. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to control access in accordance with location policies.

Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Remain alert and observant for any unusual activity, reporting concerns to the appropriate authorities or site management as required.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
