Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our aftermarket repair and upgrade operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in machining, pump mechanics, and rotating equipment restoration.
Essential Responsibilities
Technical Machining
- Operate and maintain CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual machining equipment with minimal supervision
- Apply precise machining processes to repair pumps and rotating equipment per work orders and technical specifications
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
- Calculate and set machine controls for optimal performance, including speed, feed, coolant flow, and cutting parameters
- Perform trial runs to verify machining accuracy and make necessary adjustments
- Develop detailed specifications and technical sketches for part fabrication
Quality and Safety
Adhere to established quality and safety proceduresDetect and resolve machining malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditionsVerify dimensional accuracy and alignment of machined componentsInstall replacement parts and conduct comprehensive functionality testingProblem-Solving and Adaptability
