Senior Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist-Portfolio Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Build and refine predictive models to inform business decisions across various functions

Identify trends and patterns in data, and evaluate external data sources to enhance business processes

Design and maintain reports and dashboards for stakeholders, ensuring models are integrated into production workflows

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in applied data science or statistical modeling, preferably in insurance or actuarial domains

Strong understanding of probabilistic reasoning and statistical modeling principles

Proficient in Python (or R) and SQL, with familiarity in probabilistic programming libraries

Experience using AI tools to enhance workflows with an understanding of their limitations

Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to analysis
