School Social Worker – Elementary (Grades K-5)
Location : Burbank, IL
Grade Level : Elementary-aged students
Start Date : ASAP – May 22, 2026
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 45am–2 : 50pm (extended until 3 : 35pm on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays each month)
Salary Range : $58,000–$70,000 annualized salary
Hours per Week : Full-time, 35 hours per week
Onsite / Hybrid / Virtual : Onsite
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is excited to partner with a supportive and collaborative school to welcome a full-time School Social Worker! You’ll be joining a team with other social workers, providing strong peer support and a culture of collaboration.
This is a great opportunity to provide meaningful services to a manageable caseload of around 20 students, all while working in a supportive environment that values both student success and clinician growth.
What You’ll Do
Provide social work services and support to elementary-aged students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
Maintain accurate documentation, IEPs, and student progress notes
Participate in school-based team meetings and school-wide initiatives
Advocate for student needs and support their social-emotional well-being
Caseload Details
Approximately 20 students on caseload
General duties supporting mild-to-moderate student needs
Work closely with a team of school social workers
Qualifications
Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
