Minimum Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Possess a pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple calls or patients simultaneously. Efficient and accurate data-entry skills are essential. Proficiency in computer use and experience with multi-line phones or switchboards. Basic math and filing skills may be required. Capability to manage multiple deadlines and make decisions efficiently. Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patients. - Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and ensure they are routed properly.
- Perform client intake and notify staff of client arrivals.
- Enter patient information accurately into our databases.
- Assist with the management of volunteers alongside the volunteer coordinator.
- Follow appointment and cash handling procedures as established by management.
- Maintain a neat and orderly clinic lobby.
- Process lab results as assigned by the Practice Manager.
- Participate in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service quality.
- Promote effective working relations and teamwork.
Work within a primary care medical home, applying a team-based approach to care.
