Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking a compassionate and experienced Infusion Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated oncology team in Kearney, NE. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking new era in cancer care as we prepare for the grand opening of the Kearney Cancer Center in Fall 2025 !
The Kearney Cancer Center will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care in a modern, welcoming environment. This brand-new center will combine advanced oncology treatments, cutting-edge technology, and a compassionate approach to care, ensuring that patients in Kearney and central Nebraska receive the highest standard of treatment.
As an Infusion Certified Pharmacy Technician, you'll help compound and prepare infusion medications, support compliance with USP-800 guidelines, and contribute to the safe and effective care of our patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
Compound IV medications using aseptic technique in a cleanroom environmentEnsure compliance with USP-800 for the safe handling of hazardous drugsMaintain cleanliness and documentation logs in IV room (cleaning, temperature, waste, inventory)Perform accurate calculations to measure and mix chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusion medicationsMaintain and track infusion equipment and pharmaceutical inventoryAccurately enter medication information into the Nucleus SystemProperly handle and dispose of hazardous materials per OSHA and NIOSH standardsAssist with ordering and restocking of medications and suppliesCollaborate with pharmacy, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure timely, safe delivery of therapyParticipate in the training of new staff as neededSupport quality assurance processes and compliance with CPN policiesWhat You Need to Bring
Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Nebraska - REQUIREDHigh school diploma or equivalencyMinimum 1 year of IV compounding experienceAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational and documentation skillsKnowledge of IV medications, supplies, and safety proceduresSchedule & Work Environment
Day shift only - Monday through FridayNo weekends or holidaysFull-time or part-time opportunities availablePhysical activities include walking, standing for extended periods, lifting, and manual dexterityMust be able to work in highly regulated, sterile environments with occasional work-related stressOutstanding Benefits
