Scope of Job :
Manages an existing client book while actively generating new business through strategic referrals, targeted marketing efforts, and strong partnerships with local bank staff across branch locations. Provides personalized financial advice and planning services, helping clients achieve their financial goals through informed decision-making and tailored strategies. Responsible for proactively engaging clients, presenting solutions, and staying current on market trends and financial products. This role involves the opportunity to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver exceptional financial guidance in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Primary Duties :
Deliver comprehensive financial advice tailored to client goals, risk tolerance, and life circumstances.
Develop and implement financial plans addressing retirement, investment, tax, estate, and insurance needs.
Proactively conduct regular client reviews to ensure strategies remain aligned with evolving goals and market changes.
Manage new account openings, documentation, service follow-ups, and ensure timely execution of transactions and service requests.
Prepare and present research, reports (e.g., Morningstar, Retire Up), and tailored investment recommendations for client meetings.
Build strong relationships with BankWest employees and leadership to foster referrals supporting bank clients with financial products and services.
Participate in business development activities including marketing campaigns, client events, and prospect outreach to expand BankWest's client base.
Collaborate with internal financial services and bank teams to support cross-functional initiatives and client service excellence.
Provide backup and support to colleagues responding to walk-in client needs and incoming inquiries with professionalism.
Secondary Duties :
Work as a team with departmental counterparts on planning and implementing assigned projects and products.
Participate on various committees and project teams as deemed appropriate by management.
Attend, actively participate in organization, job specific training offered, and Quality Service programs.
Adhere to all applicable Policies and Procedures of BankWest organization.
Community Involvement strongly encouraged.

Requirements
Education :
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Applicable experience and / or related certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
Industry recognized professional certification(s) and / or certificates.
Series 7, Series 66 (or equivalent) and other relevant certifications.
Paraplanner designation preferred.
Experience :
2 years' experience in related field. (5+ years preferred)
Knowledge and Special Skills :
Knowledge of BankWest products and services.
Knowledge of the brokerage industry.
Ability to work dependently and / or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.
Ability to organize and handle multiple responsibilities while delivering quality external and / or internal Customer Service.
Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with external and / or internal customers.
Knowledge or ability to learn regulatory requirements pertinent to performance of specified duties in job description.
Ability to skillfully use a variety of application software, learn computer programs, and comprehend the program output.
Adhere to Federal Privacy Standards in addition to following BankWest requirements for electronic communication and Social Engineering standards.
