Vistra is seeking a Legal Subject Matter Expert to serve as a jurisdictional expert to inform the organization’s response to questions regarding juvenile jurisdiction data and systems. Works independently with some guidance.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Conduct legal reviews of juvenile jurisdiction data to identify legal discrepancies and propose resolutions.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with legal and real estate (real property) SMEs and military installation staff to address issues and assist with plans for implementing the juvenile jurisdiction information system.
- Assist with preparation for Q&A sessions, reviews questions from legal and real property SMEs, and prepares information to inform responses.
- Provide input to annual report that informs policies for investigating and adjudicating juvenile matters on military installations subject to federal exclusive legislative jurisdiction.
- Provide clear verbal and written communications to legal subject matter experts
- Conduct thorough legal reviews and prepare robust, data-informed recommendations with minimal guidance
Requirements :
Juridical Science Doctor (J.D.S.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) with 5+ years of directly related experience5+ years of experience in jurisdiction law1+ years of experience in coordinating with legal and / or real property SMEsAdditional preferred qualifications :
