Position : Tax Accountant– Corporate Accounts Payable (1099 / W8 / W9)

Location : Riverside, RI

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Contract : ASAP Start (Once Onboarding Clears) – 5 / 8 / 2026

Pay : $25.00 – $28.34 hourly, paid weekly.

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Indirect Tax Analyst to join the Global Indirect Tax Team within Corporate Accounts Payable (CAP), a global operations function supporting over 40 countries. This on-site position plays a vital role in ensuring tax compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax and accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with global compliance teams, tax specialists, and internal stakeholders across Corporate Accounts Payable, particularly in vendor setup and invoice processing functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Review vendor invoices for accurate application of sales tax, federal and state withholding, and reporting requirements.
Conduct W9 and W8 form validation for vendors and payees.
Assist with the preparation and review of annual 1099 reporting.
Perform tax-related research to support internal inquiries and ensure compliance.
Generate and maintain Excel-based financial and tax reports.
Participate in special projects related to tax compliance and process improvements.
Collaborate with senior team members to support business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Identify opportunities to improve existing procedures and documentation.

Tax and Accounting Experience – preferably in a corporate or global finance setting.

Strong Analytical Skills – with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly document and explain processes.

Effectively manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Collaborate and communicate well with cross-functional teams.

Follow established procedures while also contributing to process and documentation enhancements.

Additional Details :

Client interaction : Not required, though communication with internal employees may be necessary.

Reporting structure : Directly reports to the hiring manager, with daily guidance from senior team members.

Working Conditions :

May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.

The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
