Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Lead to join our team and support our Commercial Sales & Marketing functions. This entry-level role is ideal for an early-career finance professional eager to build expertise in pricing strategy, sales forecasting, trade spend analysis, and promotional ROI. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering actionable financial insights that drive business decisions. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and support strategic initiatives. Responsibilities : Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts by customer, channel, and SKU. Analyze actual sales vs. forecast and identify key variances. Pricing & Margin Analysis Support the evaluation of pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness. Develop margin analysis by customer and product line to identify profit improvement opportunities. Trade Spend Management Track trade promotions and discounts; provide analysis of trade spend ROI. Partner with Sales to monitor deductions and accruals. Commercial Insights Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives (e.g., new product launches, customer bids, contract renewals). Develop dashboards and reports for leadership highlighting key commercial KPIs. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in the annual budgeting process for Sales & Marketing expense lines. Support monthly rolling forecast updates and variance explanations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Operations Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of commercial forecasts with production plans. Requirements : Minimum Qualifications Candidates must reside within 40 miles of Sauget, IL (Greater St. Louis area). Please note that relocation assistance will not be provided for this role. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 0–2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Benefits Competitive base salary ($60,000-$75,000 / year). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees.
