We are growing our Maintenance team and have a spot open for a Lube Technician in our Phoenix location. Pay range is $22-26 and commensurate with experience.

The Lube Technician will be responsible for providing service to the fleet assigned to their location. Their scheduled hours will be 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm.
Responsibilities include :
- Maintains and monitors preventative maintenance schedules.
- Performs routine maintenance such as oil changes; changes and mounts tires; checks batteries; and lubricates equipment and machinery.
- Inspects brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
- Operates hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.
- Examines and adjusts protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
- Ensures compliance with DOT, EPA and OSHA rules and regulations.
- Complies with company and safety policies and procedures. Ensures a safe working environment.
- Maintains excellent internal and external customer relations.
- Monitors parts and supplies inventory and notifies manager to replenish.
- Washes and cleans inside and outside of coaches, when needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of shop.
- Communicates with drivers regarding training and answering questions regarding maintenance of the coaches.
- Complies with company scheduled hours.
- Works in excess of normal working hours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.
- Responsible for providing hand and personal power tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Education
High School Diploma or GED.Brake and AC Certifications are preferred but not needed.Experience
None required, will train the right person.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Mechanically inclined.Comfortable using a computer and with technology in general.Detail oriented and organized.Must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time and budgetary pressures.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Ability to communicate openly and honestly with drivers and other managers and location staff.Ability to make repair decisions in a fast-paced environment based upon what would be in the best interest of the company.Ability to work independently and self-motivated.Ability to solve problems and maintenance issues.Must be a team player and willing to accept and support company processes and systems.Candidates must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug testing, background check and back screening.
