Maintenance Supervisor

DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day facility operations. This key position will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, clean, and efficient operation of our facility, contributing directly to the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise, plan, and schedule maintenance and repair tasks for the building and grounds.
• Perform skilled maintenance duties including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Life Safety and State Regulations.
• Lead, train, and support a team of maintenance workers, ensuring high-quality work standards and timely task completion.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and perform regular inspections of the facility, equipment, and systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for emergency maintenance needs.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with outside vendors for major repairs or replacements.
• Ensure all maintenance records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
• Participate in safety and emergency preparedness drills and ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.
