AMS Landscaping, LLC is looking for an experienced Foreman / Field Supervisor to oversee our excavation and construction projects. This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing complex projects, ensuring job site safety, and guiding teams toward success.

Position Overview

The Foreman / Field Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site work, excavation, drainage, and construction operations. You will manage laborers and operators, monitor equipment use, ensure schedules are met, and provide hands-on leadership to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary : $60,000–$80,000 (based on skill set and responsibility)
$300 sign-on bonus after 90 days
Weekly pay with performance bonuses
One week paid vacation after 90 days

Responsibilities

Supervise site crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans

Manage excavation, drainage, grading, and construction operations

Assess priorities and make field-level decisions on workflow, crew assignments, and equipment use

Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Conduct job site inspections and maintain records of progress, equipment use, and materials

Train team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and proper techniques

Communicate with project managers and clients regarding job status and adjustments

Operate heavy machinery as needed (skid steers, mini excavators, dump trucks, etc.)

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 5+ years of construction / excavation experience

At least 2–3 years leading crews or managing job sites

Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills

Ability to read site plans, layouts, and construction drawings

Knowledge of equipment operation, safety protocols, and load securement

Clean driving record (CDL preferred)

Ability to pass drug and background screenings
