General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-service general practice offering a supportive environment for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking for strong mentorship. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm, and Saturday from 7am to 12pm, remaining closed on Sundays. Full-time doctors typically work 4 days per week with rotating Saturday shifts. Part-time options are also available, with schedules starting at 2 days per week or more. Role Description and Responsibilities This role involves delivering comprehensive general practice veterinary care. Daily responsibilities include a wide range of clinical duties such as surgery, dentistry, wellness exams, and internal medicine. The position is well-suited to both experienced DVMs and new graduates, with exceptional mentoring provided to support professional development. Practice Details The hospital is a well-equipped facility offering dental care, surgical procedures, emergency care during working hours, in-house lab testing, digital x-rays and ultrasound, daycare, grooming and boarding, and cold laser therapy. The practice is highly tech-optimized and provides industry-leading medical and diagnostic tools to support patient care. Team The team includes 2 DVMs and a tenured group of skilled technicians and assistants. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on mentorship and team-based care.
