About The Position

Job Title : MRI Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : MRI Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x9.5-Hour

Hours per Shift : 9.5

Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred

License : Valid Allied license required

Certifications : ARRT MR, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Travel experience required
• Charting system experience preferred

Description :

MRI Tech position available.

Schedule includes 14-hour days on the weekend.

Evening shifts are scheduled on Friday and Monday.

Predominantly involves outpatient imaging exams.

Candidate must be nationally certified.

Experience with various imaging modalities is required, including Abdomen and Brain imaging.

Skills required may include Magnetic Resonance Angiogram (MRA) and Preparing and / or administering contrast media.

Responsibilities will involve working with diverse patient age groups.

Adherence to isolation precautions is necessary.

Candidates must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs.

Travelers may be required to float to other units as the facility needs dictate.

Orientation and competency modules will be provided on-site.

All duties should align with scope of practice and facility protocols.
