  • Status : Fulltime
  • Shift : 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday
  • On Call : No
  • Always in person

    • Summary

    The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include :

  • Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
  • Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
  • Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
  • Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
  • Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

    • This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Charge and / or Board Running experience preferred.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RN (Registered Nurse)
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty

  • Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or RN Certification in related field

    • Experience

  • Required includes 2 years RN experience
  • Preferred Experience includes 2 years Perioperative RN experience

    • Facility

    BayCare Health System, Surgery-SJHN

    Location : St Josephs North

    Status : Full Time, Exempt : No

    Shift Hours : 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM

    Shift : Shift 1

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

    Weekend Work : Occasional

    On Call : No
