Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Patrol PT

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a secure atmosphere while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $26.16 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or maintenance issues as observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with property management and / or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the commercial real estate location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to tenants, employees, and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
