Join Our Team as a Senior Project Lead!

Are you an ambitious project leader looking to make a significant impact? Baxter Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Lead to join our outstanding Sustaining Engineering Team within Front Line Care (FLC) Engineering. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead cross-functional project teams and drive the development and improvement of our world-class products!

Key Responsibilities :

As a Senior Project Lead, you will :

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully implement sustaining projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage projects aimed at improving product features, growing into new markets, addressing quality issues, meeting regulatory standards, and reducing costs.
  • Coordinate one large or multiple small to medium projects that impact company performance.
  • Direct internal and external team members to meet project objectives.
  • Implement design changes into production for current products and provide consultation support for other engineering projects.
  • Effectively communicate with collaborators across Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.

Required Background :

To be considered for this role, you must have :

  • 5-7 years of applied project management experience coordinating projects of various sizes.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven skill in negotiating and communicating effectively with various cross-functional collaborators.
  • Strong command of Medical Device Design Controls.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Desired Background :

    While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable :

  • Technical / Engineering or Business Degree.
  • Applied experience with Microsoft Project and other Office Suite applications.
  • Prior SAP experience, including creation of DIRs, BOMs, Routers, and writing Engineering Changes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000-$143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
