Overview of Responsibilities
Responsible for safe and timely delivery of supplies to partner organizations within the region served. Perform general warehouse duties when no deliveries are scheduled for the work day
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Safely operate a variety of warehouse lift trucks
- Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks. Including touch freight
- Transport materials or equipment to designated locations following established routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the trucks and report any issues or maintenance needs to management
- Keep track and enter all over the road receipts monthly into PWNA computer system
- Knowledge of DOT, ELD guidelines and systems
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery paperwork, mileage and fuel reports.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Certified forklift operator preferred, but not required

Requirements :
Experience / Position Requirements
Valid Class-A driver's license with a clean driving record.Out of state travel including overnightsPush, pull heavy pallets up to 2,500 LBS while delivering, loading or unloadingAble to bend, twist, squat, stand & sit for long periods of time throughout the dayProven experience as a truck driver with no less than 3 year’s experienceAble to lift 50-LBS or more continuallyKnowledge of local and state traffic laws and regulations.The ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, order pickers & pallet jacksStrong communication skills and ability to work independently.Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading materials or equipmentExcellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.Secondary functions
