Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MRI) certification and BLS for a 12-hour day shift position.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital and trauma center within the diagnostic imaging department

12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with combinations of 8 and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week

Every 3rd Saturday weekend rotation required

Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation

Patient population includes diverse inpatient and outpatient cases

Operate magnetic resonance imaging systems, surface coils, and physiologic gating equipment

Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation

Select pulse sequences and operate MRI equipment per protocol

Prepare and instruct patients for procedures, ensure safety, and administer contrast media as needed

Provide patient care during procedures and maintain accurate records in PACS and radiology information systems

Participate in multidisciplinary team activities and support quality patient care initiatives

Facility may require flexibility with work hours to meet departmental needs

Facility reserves the right to refuse or terminate assignments for cause

Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Experience as an MRI Technologist required

Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(MRI) certifications required

Current BLS or equivalent CPR certification required

License required if applicable
