About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 00 - 06 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : No license hits are accepted.

Certifications : BLS, RRT, AHA or ARC only

Must-Have : EPIC experience heavily preferred

Description :

Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit.

If clinical passes and is within guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.

Clinical screens will be sent on a case-by-case basis.

Manager will interview candidates.

The candidate could care for COVID patients.

Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays.

There will be no request for time off between Christmas and New Year.

Additional information includes the possibility of floating based on department needs.

Candidates should have experience in adult critical care, emergency department, and various respiratory procedures.

Skills required include tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation weaning, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.

Patient ratios and scheduling will depend on department needs.

RTO should be minimized to 7 days maximum per contract.
