Responsibilities

Team Introduction

The TikTok UX team is responsible for creator product design for the TikTok app. With our key vertical ownership areas including creator tools, monetization, traffic & growth, OGC, and TV. The team provides specialized design methodologies and practices to help creators improve their authoring experience and efficiency.

We are looking for designers with passion and ideas for video products and full-stack capabilities. You will work, learn and grow in an internationalized corporate environment and culture. You will be involved in the whole chain process of product design and development, starting from a product idea, exploring and iterating the design, tracking and reviewing the effect of the project on-line, and taking responsibility for the experience of global users.

Responsibilities :

• Design for TikTok PGC, the creative short video platform targeting global users;
• Work with cross functional teams, including product managers, researchers, UX writers and engineers;
• Get involved in every aspect of the product development process, from ideas to pixel perfecting before launch;
• Prototype rapidly based on conceptual product ideas, design user flows based on data analysis and user research, get feedback from different stakeholders, reiterate designs, and ship products with the best user experience;
• Continuously optimize and be responsible for overall product experience.

Job Information

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115000 - $165600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
