NYS RN and NP (Psychiatry and Mental Health) licensures Suboxone license Methadone experience Valid DEA registration BLS certification Microsoft Office Suite proficient Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Bilingual (English and Spanish) National Board Certification (PMHNP) within 12 months of hire Experience in Addiction Medicine, Substance Abuse, and / or Mental Health Treatment programs Familiarity with OASAS, OMH, and DOH regulations Knowledge of techniques for identifying and preventing potentially violent behavior, including Crisis Management techniques
A nonprofit organization in New York City is actively seeking a new, licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join one of their facilities in the Bronx. In this role, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing general clinical care including assessments, medication management and medication administration.
