We are looking for a Mechanical Design Project Leader to oversee and guide the mechanical design team in the development of innovative automation and robotics projects. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with expertise in mechanical project management and a robust technical foundation to thrive in a fast-paced design environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring project success, from inception to implementation.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate the mechanical design team to ensure smooth communication, monitor project progress, and make adjustments to plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other design departments to align project planning and execution with contractual requirements.
• Develop comprehensive technical proposals detailing implementation timelines and costs, while cooperating with other company functions.
• Provide support to production teams during assembly and testing phases by clarifying designs, identifying necessary technical changes, and updating documentation.
• Manage and mentor team members, focusing on their training, motivation, and career growth in alignment with company policies.
• Create technical documentation to support project implementation and facilitate the production of user manuals.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in organizing kick-off meetings and conducting design reviews with clients.
• Deliver technical training sessions to customer personnel on machine architecture and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all phases of design and production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience managing mechanical projects, preferably within the automation and robotics sector.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks or SolidEdge.
• Strong understanding of robotic systems and processes.
• Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to mechanical design.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and client engagement.
