Consulting Internship With BerryDunn's Medicaid Practice Group

BerryDunn is seeking a Consulting Intern to join our Medicaid Practice Group focused on supporting clients at the intersection of Health Policy and Medicaid. You will join a team that helps our communities thrive by driving forward their policy priorities!

As a success partner to state Medicaid agencies, this team works to interpret vague policy language and deal with ambiguity while keeping the goals of our clients at the forefront. During your internship you will partner with your supervisor and other experienced team members to grow personally and professionally. This internship will provide you the opportunity to become familiar with a consulting firm, our systems, operations, and client relationships.

You will be immersed in dynamic, in-person learning and get to connect with other interns and experience the company culture firsthand. This summer internship is based at our Portland, ME headquarters. Upon successful completion of the internship, and depending on business need, we offer ongoing employment opportunities with remote or hybrid options serving our clients across the nation. This internship provides a unique chance to connect, learn and grow with us - both in the office and potentially from wherever you are!

• Summer session running from June 2, 2026, through August 7, 2026.

Compensation Details

The hourly rate for this role is $30 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
