Patients cared for on this unit have scheduled elective surgical, interventional radiology, endoscopy and cardiology procedures. The care provided to patients is to safely prepare them prior to the scheduled procedure and discharge to home.The ARU is open Monday-Friday from 5 : 00am until the last patient discharges in the evening. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and / or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
