Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create execute and maintain test cases test data and test scripts for manual and automated testingLearn DMAs tax accounting and business subject matter to create targeted test cases Participate in projects following the approved Development and Testing MethodologiesMaintain and report results using the approved methodologyPerform Functional Non-functional UAT and Regression testing on projects as neededUnderstand the QA process and participate in continuous improvementConsistently strives to improve the way tasks and activities are accomplished meeting quality objectivesContribute to the planning and scheduling of testingUtilize Jira (issue tracking system) to monitor and report enhancement and defect ticketsParticipate in the generation and accuracy of all QA documentsProvide oversight to ensure that the project team follows quality best practices and standardsNon-Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned Education and QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 2 - 5 years of QA testing web-based applications or programming experience. Appropriate college curriculum (computer science courses) considered as 1-year experiencePrevious experience with issue tracking software Jira or similarExperience with automation tools like Selenium or experience with Java is highly desired Experience with Financial or Business Process applications is a plusAbility to manage multiple issues simultaneouslyProficient with software development life-cycleExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent listening skills
