The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Cooks & Food Prep Workers to work at a company located in the Elkhart, IN area!

Pay / hours for position

1st Shift, 4–8 hour shifts $14- $15 / hr

Requirements of position

The JobSquad Staffing is seeking reliable, motivated, and family-focused individuals to join our school

cafeteria teams. If you’re looking for a job that works around your child’s school schedule, this is the

perfect opportunity! With flexible 4-hour or 8-hour shifts, you can balance work and family life while

making a difference in your community.

  • Prepare and portion food according to school menu guidelines and safety standards
  • Assist with cooking, chopping, and assembling meals
  • Serve meals to students and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling
  • Assist with inventory management and storage of food items
  • Support team members to ensure smooth cafeteria operations

Responsibilities of position

  • Clean background required (school environment)
  • Prior food prep or service experience is helpful but not required (training provided)
  • Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Flexible availability for 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
