Responsibilities Work exclusively in a pediatric home health setting Primary responsibility is dedicated in-home visits, not in a facility Patient population includes children, many with tracheostomies and ventilators Must be able to travel to patient homes up to 1 hour from the central location Schedule is three 10-hour day shifts per week : Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. LPN support will be present at patient homes throughout the shift Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for children with complex medical needs in the home environment Collaborate closely with LPNs assigned to each patient home Role requires independent travel and the ability to provide care in diverse household settings Candidates with experience in developmental delays or pediatric acute care are preferred Requirements Active OH or compact RN license is required BSN required Current American Heart Association BLS certification required At least 6 months of experience in home health, acute care, medical / surgical, CCU, pediatrics, obstetrics, geriatric care, or DODD required Proficiency in MS Office or similar software required Experience with pediatric and / or technology-dependent or medically complex patients preferred Strong communication skills needed to work collaboratively with all levels of staff At least two professional references and copies of driver's license and social security card required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627141.
