MTM Transit in partnership with Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time drivers to join our team in Redding, CA.
Hourly Pay : $25.00 / hr
Location : 3333 South Market Street Redding, CA 96001
Shift : Candidates must be available 7 days a week. Operations run from 4 : 30am-10 : 30pm. Shifts will be assigned after training is completed and are expected to be 35-40+ hours per week.

What You'll Need :
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years or olderValid U.S. Driver's License for the past 3 yearsValid Class B-P (endorsed for air brakes and passenger transport) driver's license issued by the State of California OR ability to obtainMust have 3 years licensed driving experienceNo DUI's, DWI's or Reckless driving in the past 7 yearsNo history of violent criminal (felony or misdemeanor) convictionsNo more than 3 moving violations or accidents within last 3 yearsIn the event that your license has been previously revoked, you must have at least 3 full subsequent years post reinstatement with no violationsPossess valid authorization to work in the State of California and the United StatesMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screeningMust pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle Record checkSkills :
Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to be certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR.Ability to adhere to RABA's Operator dress codeAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service areaAbility to obtain the General Public Paratransit Vehicle Certification (GPPV), complete the verification of Transit Training (VTT), and be registered with the California DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) program, before operating any RABA vehicleAbility to read and speak the English language sufficientlyWhat You'll Do :
Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredEqual Opportunity Employer : MTM is an equal opportunity employer.
