Currently have a new exciting opportunity for a LOTO / Energy Marshall Manager to be based in Virginia.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) / Energy Marshall Manager to lead energy isolation and control programs across industrial and commercial projects based in North Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and integrity of energy systems on-site, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to uphold the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage LOTO procedures across multiple project sites.
  • Serve as the lead Energy Marshall, overseeing all energy isolation activities and ensuring safe work environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to ensure robust energy control systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for site personnel on LOTO protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of isolation activities, audits, and incident reports.
  • Perform risk assessments and support investigations related to energy incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in energy isolation, LOTO systems, or safety management within industrial / commercial environments.
  • Strong leadership and project coordination skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30 / OSHA 500, NFPA 70E).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to dynamic project demands.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data centers, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with international safety standards and multi-client environments.
  • Experience working in North Carolina or the Southeastern U.S. region.
