Job shadowing / ride-alongs with experienced Field Sales Agronomist. Learn from multiple Agronomist sell / consult at the farm gate with the end goal of selling products and programs and growing sales and market share. Continuously learn and develop knowledge on our agronomy services we sell (seed products, fertilizers, chemicals, etc.) Conduct surveys or collect data for our agronomy customers / members. Attend sales training sessions, test plot days, or company outings with the Agronomist Sales Team. Assist with crop scouting, plant tissue sampling, and soil sampling. Working knowledge of Integrated Pest Management. Diagnose developing pest, disease, fertility, pH, or plant performance concerns. Understand, interpret, and explain information from soil samples / soil labs. Follow up after application fulfillment to make sure that product is performing to needs. Identify any performance deficiencies and work to resolve in a timely manner. Assisting operations get customer orders completed, deliver products or pickup equipment Supports a team-oriented environment by interacting in a professional, collaborative, and respectful manner with all employees, clients, customers and / or vendors. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert advice on products and services. Ensure customer satisfaction by offering timely and effective solutions to meet their needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on product offerings and sales techniques. Other duties as assigned. Working toward Bachelors or Associates Degree in Agronomy, Crop & Soil Science, Crop Consulting, Agribusiness, Sales, Ag Management, Agricultural Communication, or related Agriculture field Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to work Strong computer and technology skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong enthusiasm for building internal and external relationships Embrace goals and goal setting to grow your career Self-directed and focuses on taking action Strong organization and time management skills Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity Positive attitude Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Work in outdoor conditions Safety first mindset ALCIVIA Locations : https : / / www.alcivia.com / connect / locations /

Work Location : 181 S Carter Street, Genoa City, WI 53128.
Weekly Work Schedule Summer Hours : Monday - Friday; 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm.
2026 ALCIVIA Internship Program Dates : May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
- There is the potential to start earlier than May 18th and potential to work past August 7th.

Agronomy Sales Intern Essential Responsibilities :
The Agronomy Sales Internship at ALCIVIA is designed to provide the intern with education through real life experiences in agronomy sales (seed products, fertilizers, chemicals), applicating, crop scouting, plant tissue / soil sampling, and agronomy operations. During this Internship, you will receive hands-on and real-life work experiences within sales, operations / production, in-office, and on-farm.
