JOB DESCRIPTION

About Facility :

Outpatient Clinic within Cabarrus – Concord, NC

Preferred : BLS, ACLS

Skills required : Oncology background

Performs QA on equipment as required

Machine maintenance done daily / weekly / monthly

Performs delivery of non-standard, standard, and complicated treatment planning and techniques, which may include high dose radiation (HDR), low dose radiation (LDR), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)

Performs radiation surveys of treatment rooms

Calibrates various therapy machines

Linear accelerators - Varian TrueBeam

Measures instruments against national standards, measures therapy beam data for treatment planning purposes

Familiar with guided radiation therapy – familiar with IT / chart checks / QA

CT imaging – Philips

Soft skills : Strong communication with the interdisciplinary team
