Overview

Chipotle Mexican Grill is cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, real food with wholesome ingredients. We are looking for a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service.

The Opportunity

The Service Leader maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. He / she is on their feet while clocked in and, when not busy, evaluates tasks that need to be completed and assists others as needed.

What You'll Do

  • In addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
  • Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • Help resolve food quality issues
  • Support food safety including hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
  • Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew
  • Assist with Crew performance reviews
  • Develop future Service Leaders
  • Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork
  • Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
  • Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
