Travel ICU RN Job Details Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (Blue Ridge Mountains) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Unit : Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU), 20 beds Dress Code : Navy blue top and bottom, or navy bottom with white top Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630–$1750 per week ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (trauma ICU or surgical ICU background required) Proficiency with ICU equipment : Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial lines, CVC lines Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with Cerner preferred Preferred : TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification Strong teamwork and communication skills ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting Assist with and perform advanced procedures : central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, percutaneous tracheostomies Monitor and manage patients using advanced ICU equipment (CRRT, ICP monitors, wound vacs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float as needed to other critical care units : MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, PCU Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital policies and clinical protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this exceptional ICU Registered Nurse job in Asheville, North Carolina!
