Commercial Loan Support

This position is an entry level commercial loan support role responsible for the creation and processing of accurate and compliant loan documentation following MidWest One policies and procedures and industry best practices; escalates more advanced loan transactions to a Commercial Loan Processing Support II or Senior Processing Support.

Responsibilities

• Processes commercial loan documentation following the Bank's Loan Policy, operating procedures and industry best practices.
• Assists Commercial Bankers and loan servicing team members with operational support related to compliance, policy, and related requirements.
• Reviews incoming loan requests for completeness and data accuracy.
• Uses the loan document imaging system to validate information on loan requests.
• Performs pre-closing compliance reviews including the following regulatory guidance under :
• Flood Insurance under the National Flood Insurance Program ("NFPA");
• Regulation B;
• Home Mortgage Disclosure Act ("HMDA");
• Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA");
• Beneficial Ownership;
• Customer Identification Program ("CIP").
• Verifies loan approval prior to producing loan documentation.
• Prepares upload directions for Loan Operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
