Position Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field, preferred

Strong writing and organizational skills required as is the ability to produce content under heavy deadline pressure.

3 years’ experience line producing a newscast

Attention to detail is must.

Ability to collect and analyze data and information accuracy as well as follow through.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Proactive and solutions focused.

Professional appearance.

Additional Weekend Requirements :

Must be able to work Wednesday to Sunday

Live within reasonable distance and have dependable means of transportation due to early hours on Saturday and Sunday

Saturday hours are 5 : 30am~3 : 30pm

Sunday hours are 5 : 30am~2 : 30pm

Must be able to multi-task and have good time management skills

5 shows across 10 hours requires swift and smooth transitions between shows

We produce Sunday shows on Saturday so candidates should be able to manage their time to make sure they are working ahead at all times

Must have reasonable knowledge of the news cycle

We are covering the stories of the week, so you should not be seeing these stories for the first time when you start working on your segment

Candidates should also be keeping an eye out throughout the week for new angles / elements to keep stories fresh, even if they have completed their work on a segment
