Build precision from print to part—every day

At Dunaway, you’ll start your day in a climate‑controlled, clean shop, fire up a 2014‑era HAAS control, and turn raw stock and a drawing into a finished, in‑tolerance part. You’ll decide the best path : select workholding, choose tooling (including high‑speed inserts), program in G‑code or conversational as needed, cut steel and flame‑cut profiles, and verify every dimension before the job leaves your station.

What you’ll do

• Own the process from setup to inspection : program, set up, and machine parts to print independently.
• Write and edit G‑code; leverage conversational programming on HAAS controls (2014 era).
• Machine steel and flame‑cut materials with appropriate tooling and feeds / speeds.
• Apply best practices with high‑speed inserts to improve accuracy and cycle time.
• Read complex drawings and ensure every feature meets spec.
• Perform in‑process checks and final dimensional verification prior to job completion.
• Operate additional manual equipment as needed (vertical / horizontal boring mills, lathes, etc.).
