CPA Controller

A company is looking for a Controller / Director of Accounting with strong financial management experience in government contracting or non-profit.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with relevant regulations and standards

Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions

Act as the primary liaison for annual audits and tax filings, preparing necessary schedules and documentation

Required Qualifications

Licensed CPA or equivalent competency

Experience in financial management within government contracting or non-profit sectors

Knowledge of applicable regulations, accounting principles, and reporting concepts

Ability to conduct technical research and present findings to management

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
