Store Manager, Retail A
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high energy, detail-oriented Store Manager to join our team! This position would be responsible for all operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Pay : $50,000
Job Type : Full-Time, Exempt
Hours of Operation : Monday-Sunday : 9 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM
Essential Duties and Tasks :
- Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows that enhance the efficiency and quality of store results in collaboration with the senior store manager.
- Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
- Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
- Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
- Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
- Ability to make good hiring decisions while following the companies hiring process.
- Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.
- Develop a culture of goal attainment focused on the company's mission, vision, and values.
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's degree preferred1-3 years of management / supervisory experience.Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.Physical Demands :
Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights. 45 pounds to be consistent with ASM requirement.Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.Benefits :
