Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Ontario, Ohio (Zip : 44906) – Near Bucyrus & Galion

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 - $2,020

Orientation : 16 hours

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (no pending licenses)

BLS (Basic Life Support) & ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Proficient in medication scanning and Epic charting (preferred)

Willingness and ability to float to ICU units at Bucyrus and Galion campuses

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Smoke-free healthcare facility and campus

On-call : Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in

Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules via HealthStream required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Manage dysrhythmias, arterial and central lines, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips

Assist with BiPAP / CPAP management and care of ventilated patients

Perform suctioning (ETT, NT) and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Maintain accurate documentation using hospital charting systems (Epic preferred)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Float to other ICU units within the Ohio health system as needed

Note : No holiday or holiday week time off requests will be accepted. All other time off requests must not exceed 7 days and should be submitted with your application.
