About Siemens' Electrification & Automation
The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our future grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are seeking a Site Installation Project Manager to plan and oversee turn-key service projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from contract award through completion.
- Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans.
- Supervise and execute site activities in accordance with commissioning plans and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients, trades, and stakeholders to negotiate schedules, address concerns, and drive project progress.
- Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.
- Generate and review daily and weekly reports to communicate on-site activities and progress.
- Identify out-of-scope work, prepare estimates, and assist in change order and claims processing.
- Coordinate and manage construction personnel and subcontractors, ensuring resource availability, tracking headcount, and optimizing productivity.
- Maintain compliance with all project requirements, codes, and construction standards across on-site and off-site activities.
- Foster strong working relationships with team members, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues, coach team performance, and support a productive work environment.
- Analyze and mitigate project risks while maintaining adaptability to handle emerging challenges.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all project personnel, including engineers, construction teams, and management.
Qualifications
HS Diploma with equivalent experience.3+ years of Site Management or Project Management experience.Demonstrated leadership ability and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including subcontractors, field services, engineering, operations, and logistics.Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customers.100% Travel to customer construction site.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need of company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience.A commitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external Customers.About Siemens
