Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Memphis, Tennessee (38116) – Top destination for Tennessee nursing jobs

Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : Night shifts, 4x12-hour (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)

Weekly Hours : 48 hours required

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (W2)

ER RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (3+ years preferred)

At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment

Level I Trauma Center experience required

Large hospital experience preferred

Driver's license must be included with application

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Cerner EMR charting experience preferred

Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting

Respond to trauma cases and acute medical emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and implement treatment plans

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR (preferred)

Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed

Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and travel nursing assignment requirements
