Off-Duty Active Patrol Officer

Purpose : To monitor activity on company property to ensure a drug free workplace, the safety of team member's person and property along with enforcing traffic expectations on property.

Responsibilities :

• Act in accordance with the state and federal law as per departmental policies and associated training
• Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling, checking property, maintaining order and public safety
• Issues traffic and parking citations per company policy
• Conducts investigations
• Responds to and assists in all medical emergencies
• Assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings
• Provides security escorts for personnel
• Attends required periodic training sessions
• Performs other duties as required to meet the client's needs

Basic Qualifications :

Work Environment : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be exposed to an office environment, the parking lot and possibly the production environment in case of emergencies. The production environment consists of wet and / or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.
