Cardiology Office
- Verify insurance coverage, and notify patients of outstanding deductibles prior to the appointment.
- Submit authorization requests for testing completed in-house.
- Verify if a patient's insurance requires an authorization.
- Research claim denials and promptly complete the appropriate action regarding authorization issues.
- Discuss with providers to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes
- Provide support to patients regarding billing inquiries
- Evaluating patient’s financial status and establishing budget payment plans
- Review patient payments before statement submission
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Maintaining the strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
