Schedule 10 hour day shifts / 4 shifts per week; 7-12 days of call per month; call every 3rd to 4th weekend with 30 minutes response time. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and other related tasks within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsible and independent judgment while providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist in patient care in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure environments. Function as a scrub / assistant in the sterile field and as a second circulator in the procedure room. Monitor patients receiving moderate (conscious) sedation and operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Perform routine maintenance of radiological equipment and conduct quality control procedures. Participate in preparing the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and ensure all equipment is functional. Educate patients and co-workers about cardiac health and laboratory services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification.
