Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer with at least 6 years of hands-on development experience in a Linux / Unix environment . The ideal candidate will be proficient in COBOL programming, relational databases (preferably Oracle), and have exposure to modern integration methods such as SOAP or REST APIs using XML / JSON . Experience with C programming and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS is a strong plus.

Candidates needs to have :

  • 6+ years of COBOL development experience in Unix / Linux environments
  • Strong experience with relational databases , preferably Oracle
  • Proficiency in Unix / Linux command-line tools and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with SOAP / REST APIs and data interchange using XML / JSON
  • Exposure to C programming
  • AWS or any cloud platform experience (preferred but not mandatory)

Good to have :

  • Experience with design systems and component-based design
  • Experience in enterprise or complex software product design
  • Design portfolio showcasing relevant UX / UI projects is required

  • Construct, test, and deploy portions of complex COBOL-based systems.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and legacy system conversions.
  • Use development tools to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve business and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Validate scope, create development plans, and deliver on assigned technical projects.
  • Apply specialized knowledge in cross-functional areas, legacy modernization, and integration tasks
