Corporate Governance Research Analyst

ISS is seeking a Corporate Governance Research Analyst to join our Latin American Research team to complete basic and advanced analytical governance research of companies assigned to the Latin American market during the spring annual meeting season, starting in January 2026 for a term ending in early May 2026 (there could be some fluctuation in start and end dates). The Corporate Governance Research Analyst performs governance research and complete proxy analyses for shareholder meetings of publicly-traded companies (focused on Latin American countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru). There is a requirement for fluency in Spanish, in addition to fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand company's filings with countries' regulators, as well as SEC filings (20-Fs, 6-ks) and other documents disclosed by publicly-traded companies (e.g. corporate governance reports) to distill financial, industry, and corporate governance information to draft analyses and issue proxy vote recommendations based on ISS' policy guidelines.
• Check and ensure that the accurate company's data information has been collected including, but not limited to company's financials, directors' profiles, remuneration data, and auditors fees to be used in proxy analysis reports.
• Write timely and accurate reports, in accordance with ISS procedures and policy guidelines for the respective markets.

Compensation

The pay range for this position in Rockville, MD, and Washington, DC, is $26.00 - $27.50 per hour. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and education.

Employment Type

Full-time, 40 hours per week, with overtime eligibility (subject to manager approval).
