66degrees seeks a dynamic and experienced Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) to lead our global delivery organization. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will ensure successful execution of client projects, build a world-class delivery organization, and develop the next generation of leaders within a people-centric company.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership, Operational Excellence and Delivery Execution
Develop and execute a comprehensive delivery strategy aligned with company objectives to prioritize client success.
Establish and enforce best practices for client success, project management, quality assurance, and client communication.Implement repeatable and scalable delivery methodologies to support rapid growth while maintaining high quality.Oversee the full project lifecycle from scoping and SOW creation to delivery and client sign-off, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.Talent Management and Leadership DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and lead a global team of multidisciplinary SVPs and VPs.
Establish clear career tracks and development plans for all delivery roles, fostering continuous learning and growth.Empower practice leaders to develop the next generation of leaders and drive results.Ensure effective resource allocation and talent deployment across projects.Profitability and Financial ControlTake ownership of the delivery organization's P&L.
Implement robust financial controls to forecast and achieve project profitability, burn, and resource utilization.Optimize global capabilities and resource utilization to deliver exceptional client outcomes and maximize impact.Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive data-informed decisions.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Client Relationship ManagementPartner with Sales to understand market needs and support sales efforts, showing how a strong delivery organization differentiates the business.
Collaborate with Technology Leadership to align delivery capabilities with the technology strategy and offerings.Serve as an executive sponsor for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.Champion a client-first mindset and measure success by client satisfaction.Qualifications
Minimum of 20 years of experience in professional services or a similar client-facing delivery role, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership position (e.g., VP of Delivery, COO, or similar).Proven history of building global teams and creating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including technical and non-technical professionals.Track record of building and scaling a delivery organization with repeatable processes, operational excellence, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to partner with sales, technology, and other executives.Understanding of the role of delivery in the sales process; experience with Google Cloud or other major public cloud platforms is desirable.MBA preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience.66degrees is an Equal Opportunity employer.
