Instructional Assistant-Autism

EDCOE supports the unique needs of the county’s 15 districts and 67 schools with customized business, monitoring, professional development, curricula and other services, while partnering with educators to help develop and implement innovative student programs in response to community needs.

Purpose Statement :  Under supervision of Director of Special Services or designee, provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); present instructional material; complete routine clerical duties.

This position is distinguished by knowledge of and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, and other methods of instruction commonly used with students who have ASD.

Positions are in various geographical locations throughout El Dorado County, spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino.

The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Instructional Assistant- Special Services Program, on a year-round basis, with no application deadline. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list. This list will be used for current and future openings.
